Hacked Fring Allows Skype Over 3G And Edge

Fring has been hacked or patched rather to allow Skype calls over 3G and Edge. The original posting of the method was on iphonedownloadblog.com which pointed to a forum post on Fring with a patch. The forum post was removed, however the .ipa file of the patched Fring is now available on AppShare through appulo.us
Whats AppShare? It’s a third party jailbroken iPhone application that allows you to download hacked/patched AppStore Applications. The biggest use is to install applications that you would normally pay for on the AppStore. It’s available by adding cydia.hackulo.us as a source through Cydia, you can then install AppShare. You will also want to grab Installous so you can install the hacked .ipa’s
Once you have both AppShare and Installous, you can then open AppShare and search for fring (note it will use auto correct and you can’t escape it so you will need to hit space afterwards and then delete it and type it again). Once you find it and click on it, you will see the description page for Fring. You will however need to scroll to the bottom and download the “Version 1.0.1.4 3G/Edge Hac..” which will then provide you with two sources. I choose both and Rapidshare was the easiest. After you download the file you will be asked to install it. Then you can access the hacked .ipa through Installous, from there you can install the Application into your iPhone and viola! Launch Fring and use 3G Skype power.

this is great…….. thank you thank you thank you… finally I it is here ,,, very easy solution! I was researching for days after I upgraded to 2.2 and also I think is was auto upgrade from Fring1.0.1.4 to 1.0.2.4 , and i could not use the voice over 3g and edge, so this is really great and also for the future coming upgrades 2.3 …. no problem you can always use AppShare to instal fring 1.0.1.4 cracked.!!!! great job and Thank you.
