The Author of the famous ZiPhone, Piergiorgio Zambrini has found a small bug in the iPhone OS. Zambrini is famours for the ZiPhone application that allowed you to unlock your iPhone so you could use it on carriers other than AT&T.
The bug is within the iPhones audio application portion, and is actually contain in a shared library used across mutiple Apple OS’ and some Linux OS’s. When you try to play a specially crafted video, the iPhones OS will crash and you will have to restart the phone. Forbes was the first news outlet that interviewed Zambrini about the bug. They have the article on their website titled “Crashing The iPhone”.
You can view the video on ZiPhones website when he releases it. He stated that he would release it after Monday, however it now says on his website “Update: video will be posted in a few days Forbes video is available on the video bar.”
