Apple has released the iPhone 2.2 Firmware update as well as iTunes 8.0.2 today, this morning the update for iTunes was available and this evening the firmware was released.

The iPhone 2.2 Firmware Update does include all the reported rumours that were floating around. Heres a quick blurb from engadget, also check out their site for some screenshots of the new features added.

It’s here. Google Street View and over the air Podcast downloads from iTunes. Yup, public transit and walking directions too and the ability to share your location via email.
