Tags: Apple, codes, iTunes, promo, redeem
There hasn’t been a means for developers to provide a promotional copy of thier Applications to reviewers or the general public. However, that has now changed with the recent creation of promotional codes for applications in the AppStore.
Developers can now generate up to 50 promotional codes for their application which allows anyone to download their application for free. The picture to the right shows what the process would look like after entering in the promotional code.
This will not only allow reviewers to review the full application for free, but also allow developers to give out copies to people threw a contest with out having to purchase an iTunes gift card.
